That means dressing up as animals and sitting in cages because their boss, American entrepreneur Bob Fossil, can't afford any real animals. Vince accepts the situation happily, quite in contrast to his grandiose, tweed-wearing colleague. But their jobs involve much more than just dressing up. Their strange adventures in the Zooniverse and beyond include battling mutant animals engineered in a secret laboratory under the zoo, boxing kangaroos to raise money, encountering missing cheese-headed explorers and jazz-funk musicians with doors in their heads? and a visit to Monkey Hell. Featuring animation, puppets, songs and quirky special effects, this is surreal British comedy at its best. Both TV series 1 and 2 are included. Synopsis Howard Moon and Vince Noir are two zookeepers at the Zooniverse. Here they encounter many strange adventures including boxing kangaroos, missing cheese-headed explorers, jazz-funk musicians with doors in their heads and a visit to Monkey Hell. Includes Series 2. REVIEW: 5.0 out of 5 stars Totally stupid- incredibly funny Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 April 2006 Verified Purchase Monty Python, The Goodies,The Young Ones with a hint of Morecambe and Wise.Put all these elements together and you start to get an idea of what the Mighty Boosh is all about. A surreal world filled with demented characters living through insane situations. Created by Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding ,who(along with Rich Fulcher) play most of the crazy characters, this is the type of comedy that can only be produced in Great Britain. The first series is excellent, comprising a two disc set of the eight episodes and some short documentaries about the series which would be quite average if it wasn't for the natural humour of the cast, who obviously enjoy their work. The second series is pure genius. It manages to retain the madness of series one whilst coming across as a more polished, better written show. This also contains some interesting, short documentaries and the usual out-takes and deleted scenes, which are nothing special, but that doesn't matter because the show is so damned good! **************************************************************************** EXCELLENT CONDITION **************************************************************************** Hit the browser's back button to return to the menu
